Water-droplet lashes: Way to Rock this Runway Look in Real Life
You know that feeling when you're walking through the rain and water
gets stuck on your lashes, but then your eyelashes are so thick and
luxurious that you barely notice? Yeah, neither do we.
That's why this right-of-the-runway look is so appealing. When
Carolina Herrara debuted these shiny silver lashes for her Fall 2015
show, jaws dropped as everyone simply had to know the answer to one
question: How?
Lucikly, TODAY.com cornered the makeup experts at Rouge NY to get the rundown.
W is for ... Water-droplet lashes
- Find a set of long, false lashes. They don't necessarily need to look realistic; this is a theatrical look!
- Before you apply, use a bit of silver glitter glue and scatter drops along the falsies. Let it dry.
- Then, simply glue the new-and-improved lashes on. It's that simple! Pro tip: Allow the lash glue to sit for about 30 minutes before applying so it becomes tackier.
